Are you good at data entry? Do you want to work for a friendly, high performing team?
We’re a social business with real commercial sense. Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) works in the community, providing homes for lower-income households. This is our primary purpose, and everything else we do supports that aim.
We’re offering a fantastic short term opportunity for you to join us as a Data Administrator in our HR team. We make sure that our people data is right first time, every time, so that our staff have the tools they need to do their jobs, get paid accurately and on time.
We need your ability to quickly get up to speed with our HR system iTrent – (ideally you’ll be a whizz already) as well as your impressive ability to work quickly and accurately through a high volume of database work to tight deadlines.
In this job you won’t just be plugging numbers into a database. You’ll need to be able to understand the background to the changes being made – people moving to different jobs within the organisation, joining us, leaving us, and more!
We’ll quickly come to trust you to update iTrent and gather quality data from the business, so your work here will be important. For this reason, we’ll need you to have experience of administration, be proficient with Microsoft Office and ideally have worked with iTrent before. If you don’t have experience of working on iTrent, that’s fine, but you’ll need to put your skill at getting to grips with new systems quickly to use, as iTrent is a complex database.
This is a great opportunity and is offered as a fixed term role until March 2019. We’ll offer you 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), health cash plan, season ticket loan, cycle 2 work scheme, childcare vouchers, life assurance and a generous contributory pension offer (all benefits including holiday are pro-rata as per the length of your fixed term contract).
We need someone to be immediately available (starting after pre-employment checks) and to work a minimum of 20 hours per week but if you’re looking for more hours (up to 35 hours per week) let us know in your supporting statement, and we will discuss this with you should you be offered the role.
To apply, please write a supporting statement (about 500 words long) covering the following, and upload this alongside your CV as one document:
- your experience of working with databases (please tell us about your iTrent experience if you have it, and what you think you would do to pick it up if you don’t)
- your experience working in administration (please give us examples of work that’s gone well and why)
- why you’re the ideal candidate for this role
- please indicate your preferred number of hours per week / day (Monday to Friday)
Applications for this role close at midday on Monday 18 June 2018.
Short listed candidates will be invited to interview and assessment on Thursday 21 June 2018.
